Picture
A peacock tucks his splendid tail into a settee on the first story verandah. A peahen basks in a narrow slice of late afternoon sun on a nearby chair.  A second peahen is huddled under the table at right.
Picture
The birds will leave the verandah -- for dinner --  always served at the "chicken house" with the curved window near to the back door.

Picture
Light and shadow play upon the "chicken house" and back door as seen from the path from the Hank Street gate.   Prince's Bay is in the background.
Picture
Retrievers, Noah and Dulce, greet a young visitor.  Materials for spring projects are clustered behind the green work shed.
